Become a vital part of UCDSB by teaching Senior Visual Arts in the After School program. This role runs Monday to Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a qualified instructor for its After School program, scheduled for 110 hours over the school year. Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation and possess specific qualifications in Senior Visual Arts. This term-specific role adheres to UCDSB's commitment to equity and inclusive practices in education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Senior Visual Arts to students after school hours
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards
• Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom workplace
• Communicate effectively with students and parents
• Complete program requirements and evaluations as needed
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation
• Qualifications in Senior Visual Arts education
• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in teaching
• Experience in lesson planning and classroom management
• Ability to work within a term-specific contract
