About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Child and Youth Care Worker to join their team in Kimberley . In this vital role, you will provide a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for children and young people in need. You will be responsible for their daily care, well-being, and development, implementing individualized care plans and engaging them in constructive activities. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care, supervision, and support to children and youth in a residential setting.
Implement individualized care plans, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic activities.
Ensure the physical safety, emotional well-being, and developmental progress of residents.
Document observations, incidents, and progress notes accurately and timely.
Facilitate group activities, life skills training,



and recreational opportunities.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, social workers, and other professionals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and positive living environment.
Requirements Relevant qualification in Child and Youth Care Work or Social Auxiliary Work.
Previous experience working with children or youth in a care setting.
Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and positive discipline.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Valid driver's license and willingness to undergo background checks.
