Support young women in crisis at Bethany Home as a Direct Support Worker with The Salvation Army. Play a crucial role in delivering emotional and practical support in a safe setting.

This role focuses on ensuring the well-being of female youths by providing comprehensive support that addresses their emotional, psychological, and physical needs. You will facilitate individual counseling sessions, manage crises, and coordinate with external agencies for holistic youth development. The ideal candidate will exemplify compassion and uphold the ethical standards of care in a communal setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and address individual resident needs daily
• Document and communicate resident progress clearly
• Prepare nutritious meals and maintain hygiene




• Collaborate with case workers and community partners
• Enforce program policies and maintain resident safety

Requirements:
• Completed post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Minimum one year experience in similar roles
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
