About the Role Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in Kimberley . This role involves managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to utilities, public works, or major civil engineering works within the Northern Cape . You will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of infrastructure development principles and project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initiation, planning, and design through to construction and commissioning.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and other third parties to ensure project objectives are met.
Oversee site activities, monitor progress, ensure quality control, and enforce safety standards on project sites.
Manage project finances, track expenditures,



and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
Communicate project status, key decisions, and potential issues to stakeholders and senior management effectively.
Requirements A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure project management .
Proven track record of managing large-scale civil engineering, utility, or public works projects.
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure development processes, engineering principles, and construction methods.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with project management software and contract administration.
A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
