Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As an Analyst, Business IT , you will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technology solutions. Working closely with business units and IT partners, you will consult with stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities, and risks, transforming business requirements into practical and effective solutions. You will contribute to optimizing business processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring that technology investments deliver meaningful value to both our teams and members. We're looking for a collaborative and analytical professional who excels at stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and continuous improvement.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity Head Office and will report directly to the Manager, Application Technology . While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Consulting with assigned lines of business to identify needs, challenges, risks, and opportunities

Analyzing business processes and operational requirements to support strategic initiatives

Translating businessrequirements into detailedtechnical specifications

Developing process models, business cases, and supporting analysis deliverables

Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT partners throughout project lifecycles

Facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions to gather and validate requirements

Assessing business risks and recommending solutions that improve operational effectiveness

Supporting the implementation and optimization of business and technology solutions

Researching industry trends and emerging opportunities that may impact business operations

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance member and employee experiences

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology,



Computer Science, Commerce, or a related discipline

3+ years of experience in business analysis, business systems analysis, or a related role

Experience gathering, documenting, and validating f unctional and non-functional technical requirements

Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and collaborating across multiple business units

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience evaluating risks and opportunities

Proven ability to develop process maps, technical requirements documents, and other business analysis artifacts

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships

Knowledge of business process redesign, operational improvement, and change initiatives

Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall

CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar business analysis certification is considered an asset

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

Experience in p ayments technology ie. Card Payments (Debit and Credit), Wires, AFT, e-Transfers, bill payments, etc.

Knowledge of enterprise technology platforms and digital transformation initiatives

Experience supporting large-scale business transformation or process improvement programs

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of $75,700 to$ 93,450 per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications,



skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
