RESPONSIBILITIES Works with Supervisor and Lead Hand to ensure that daily productivity targets are met in a timely and safe manner.
Demonstrate positive and safe workplace behavior at all times and work as a team in the achievement of daily production targets.
Completes a variety of tasks within a department (Press Shop, Assembly line, Cut to length and Shear).
Sets up and operates break press and/ Or notching machines, in accordance with established safe procedures.
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.




Comply with company’s EHS guidelines and ensure all required PPE are used while working on the manufacturing shop floor.
Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
Focuses on learning additional tasks and ensuring quality at all times.
Perform repetitive tasks and handle material up to 5-20 Lbs. for 10-hour shift.
Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.
Strong desire to train in any/all departments.
Performs other duties as necessary.
SKILLS Good communication skills
Follows directions, manages time appropriately, and reliable attendance.
Mechanically inclined and efficiency driven attitude.
Ambitious attitude to learn and cross-train across several departments.
Comfortable when using computers and able to follow production schedule.
Physically capable of lifting parts up to 5-20 lbs. and able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for 10 hour shift.
Exercises good judgment, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2-3 years of manufacturing experience in the field or in a related area
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
Able to demonstrate good understanding on Standard Work Instruction for all tasks expected to perform
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required




Must be flexible to work extra hours during weekdays and weekends
Demonstrates some leadership skills through informal coaching and teaching others
Ability, willing, and motivated to lead and mentor co-workers in the future
