Join GFL Environmental as a Plant Operator on the afternoon shift at our Brantford, ON location. Handle waste management processes and operate plant machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This position involves daily operations related to waste receiving, processing, and disposal. You will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, taking samples for lab analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your teamwork and detail-oriented approach will contribute to successful site management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive bulk and containerized client waste
• Load and unload various waste vehicles
• Operate plant machinery and assist in maintenance
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards
• Document work status and incident reports

Requirements:
• Experience in waste management operations an asset
• Knowledge of bulk liquid transfer systems preferred
• Certification in propane forklift operation preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and safety conscious
