Every day, we work closely with families, carers, and communities to help shape brighter futures.From supporting children and families to empowering people with disability, mental health, or those seeking refuge — we’re here to break down barriers and build better lives.Join us to discover a purpose you can wrap your heart around!Role:Residential Support WorkerEmployment Types:CasualIn these roles, you’ll work with a live-in Senior Residential Carer and a supportive team to provide a safe, homelike environment where children and young people can develop independence, manage emotions, strengthen problem-solving skills, and reconnect with education and community.Our residential homes care for children and young people 24/7, so applicants must be available and willing to work a variety of shifts, primarily consisting of afternoons, evenings, and weekends.Support young people to achieve goals in Individual Case PlansPromote independence and build community connectionsEncourage and support young people’s interestsBuild rapport and collaborate to achieve positive outcomesManage behavioural escalations and assist with emotional regulationSupport daily living skills (cooking, housework, laundry)Communicate with the care team and report incidents promptlyAdminister medication when requiredMaintain progress notes and recordsRole RequirementsCertificate IV in Youth Work, Mental Health,



or a relevant qualification (or willingness to work towards one)Experience with young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, or behaviours of concernStrong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional boundariesExperience supporting young people from Indigenous or other cultural backgroundsCurrent Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificatesDesirable: Experience with behavioural management approaches, including TCI, positive behaviour support, trauma-informed care and Sanctuary or CARE therapeutic support modelsSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, WA Working with Children Check and WA DCP395 check.Applications close at midnight on Sunday 27th September 2026Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as applications are continuously reviewed prior to the closing date; and as such the closingdate is subject to change without notice.We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants.
