Make a difference with Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Tenant Support Worker in Duncan, BC. Provide essential support and assistance to adults facing housing challenges, while working casual shifts.
In this role, you will report to the Site Manager and adhere to Lookout’s mission and ethical standards. The Tenant Support Worker assists residents by providing education, skills training, and developing service plans to promote independence. You will engage with tenants regularly to help them achieve stability in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in tenant intakes and service assessments
• Develop crisis intervention plans and administer medications
• Ensure all basic needs are consistently met
• Maintain accurate records and statistical data
• Supervise volunteers and students in office
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service or equivalent
• Two years of related experience required
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License, if necessary
• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector
• OFA Level 1 First Aid Certification
