In this position, you will provide essential administrative assistance within the Department of Medicine at the Vancouver General Hospital Site. Your responsibilities will include managing academic curriculum logistics, supporting Lead Medical Residents, and coordinating educational events. The role requires a sharp understanding of medical education systems, demonstrating judgment and tact in sensitive situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support logistics for Academic Half Day sessions
• Oversee all aspects of the Educational Curriculum Committee
• Plan and manage Objective Structured Clinical Examinations
• Coordinate scheduling for resident review meetings
• Assist with PGY4 Journal Clubs and graduation events
Requirements:
• High School graduation with two-year post-secondary diploma
• Four years related experience or equivalent
• Solid skills in scheduling and logistics coordination
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
