About the Role Our client, a respected national non-profit organization, is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Donor Relations Manager . This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa. You will be responsible for cultivating and strengthening relationships with our valued donors, ensuring their continued support and engagement with our mission. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a strategic approach to donor stewardship, and a proven ability to inspire philanthropy. You will play a key role in the organization's fundraising efforts, working virtually with development teams to achieve financial goals and sustain critical programs.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship plan to nurture relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
Communicate regularly with donors through personalized calls, emails, letters, and virtual meetings.
Plan and execute donor appreciation events and recognition initiatives, primarily in a virtual format.
Assist in the identification and cultivation of prospective major donors.
Prepare timely and accurate acknowledgment letters, impact reports,



and other donor communications.
Collaborate with the fundraising team to ensure seamless donor experiences and effective campaign support.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Philanthropy, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a similar client-facing role within the non-profit sector.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with diverse donor segments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive and empathetic engagement.
Proficiency in donor management software (CRM) and virtual communication tools.
Self-motivated and able to manage workload effectively in a fully remote environment.
