Job DescriptionWeyerhaeuser's Grande Prairie Lumber Mill has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Team Leader. The schedule for this position is Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 12‑hour days.Role OverviewThe Weekend Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for the safe, effective coordination and supervision of maintenance team members engaged in mill maintenance activities. This role plays a key leadership position in safety, reliability, and continuous improvement, while acting as a critical liaison between Operations and Maintenance.The successful candidate will lead through personal commitment and values, fostering a strong safety and reliability culture while supporting team development, workflow efficiency, and performance improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and promote safety excellence through personal leadership, adherence to Weyerhaeuser procedures, and regulatory complianceCoordinate and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and productive mill operationSupport development and engagement of maintenance team members through coaching, feedback, and accountabilityStrengthen reliability and continuous improvement by improving workflow, work execution, and cross‑functional collaborationAct as a key interface between Operations and Maintenance to align priorities and executionTrack, measure, and communicate performance using standard tools and metricsSupport planning, scheduling, and execution of work to meet internal and external customer needsQualificationsIndustrial maintenance experience and/or maintenance‑related post‑secondary education (or equivalent combination)Proven ability to lead safety through personal commitment, values, and established proceduresBasic knowledge of industrial safety procedures and regulationsStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align teams toward common goalsEffective written, verbal,
