Overview The Maintenance Helper supports the Maintenance team with routine equipment maintenance, parts and inventory management, and general upkeep to help ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.
Location:203 58 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0N9
Wage: $27.80/hour
Shift: Day shift
Responsibilities Assist Millwrights and Electricians with the repair, maintenance, installation, and servicing of industrial machinery and bakery equipment.
Assist with preventive and routine maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance team.
Follow instructions and pre-established work order guidelines when completing assigned maintenance tasks.
Conduct Safety and Quality observations and create work requests to track identified issues.
Assist with disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling bakery equipment.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements Minimum Grade 12 education.
3–5 years of experience working in a food-related or manufacturing environment is preferred.




Previous experience in a maintenance, industrial, warehouse, storeroom, or mechanical environment would be an asset.
Basic understanding of maintenance tools, parts, and equipment.
Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift, move, and handle maintenance parts, tools, and supplies as required.
