As an LTO, you'll lead primary and junior classes and create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners. Your role focuses on assessing student progress and fostering a love for education. Collaboration with colleagues and families is valued to enrich the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom workplace
• Collaborate with parents and community to enhance learning
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Current Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
• Expertise in Primary/Junior teaching
• Grade coverage for Primary and Junior levels
• Available for 0.3 FTE commitment
• Current Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening
