As a Health Care Aide, you will work as part of a dedicated care team, supervised by a Staff Nurse. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with personal hygiene, meal support, and mobility aid, ensuring each resident receives tailored care. Your ability to connect with residents and deliver support will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care, including bathing and grooming
• Safely assist with transfers using lifting aids
• Support residents during meals and snacks
• Maintain care plans for nutritional needs
• Facilitate residents’ participation in activities
Requirements:
• One year of experience in a care workplace is preferred
• Completion of an accredited PCA/HCA Certificate
• Active CLHA registration required
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Post-secondary education beneficial
