Reporting to the Manager of Community Mental Health & Addictions, the successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide critical care for patients in the Community Withdrawal Management Service. This role requires a robust commitment to quality improvement and the ability to prescribe controlled substances ethically. Key competencies include independent judgement and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively in the interdisciplinary team environment
• Initiate and manage withdrawal protocols for patients




• Create tailored care plans aligned with patient needs
• Apply ethical frameworks in treatment decisions
• Communicate clearly with patients and allied health professionals
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse in Extended Class with CNO
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers
• Recent experience in mental health or addiction nursing
• Completion of controlled substance education
• Bilingual (advanced English/French) required
