Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Drug Task Force, the Moose Cree First Nation Security Team shall assist with regular community patrols to deter crime and protect property and community assets. The MCFN Security personnel shall maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents as directed, report suspicious or criminal activity, and help ensure a safe and secure workplace for community members.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Security Guard Licence, or related training or willing to be trained.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Security or Peacekeeper experience or related field preferred.

Willingness to follow the precautionary safety guidelines always.

Must follow and adhere to the health and safety standards of the organization.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under minimum supervision and within a team framework.

Good interpersonal skills.

Must maintain strict confidentiality.

Strong written and communication skills.

Good physical condition and endurance.

First Aid/CPR.





Shall have a thorough understanding of the cultural environment in which they serve.

The ability to speak Cree is an asset.

Must provide a CPIC with vulnerable person sector at applicant’s own expense.

Must have class “G” Driver’s license.

Duration:
October 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027
