About Our Client Our client is a well-established professional services organization located in Vancouver. They are seeking a reliable, mature, and adaptable Administrative Assistant to join their small and collaborative office environment on a temporary basis.
Position Details Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Vancouver, BC
Type: Temporary
Start Date: Week of September 8, 2026, or no later than September 14, 2026
Duration: Until the end of 2026, with potential for extension into the recent year
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week; exact hours negotiable
Compensation: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience and background
Responsibilities Assist with opening and maintaining files and ensuring documentation is organized and up to date.
Conduct basic searches and assist with information gathering as required.
Prepare and submit routine filings and documentation.
Draft and format letters, correspondence, and other documents.
Provide administrative support to paralegals and other team members.
Assist with document preparation, organization, scanning, filing, and data entry.
Maintain accurate electronic and physical records.
Follow established procedures while taking initiative to identify and complete tasks independently.
Communicate professionally with internal team members and external contacts as required.
Ask questions when clarification is needed and apply instructions accurately.
Support the team with other administrative duties and special projects as required.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications Previous experience in an administrative, office, professional services, legal, or related workplace is preferred.
Legal Administrative Assistant certification is not required.
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
Mature, dependable, trustworthy, and professional.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable asking questions, learning new processes, and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Previous experience with legal files, document preparation, filings, or paralegal support would be an asset.
