The Environmental Services position at Brooks Health Centre is crucial for maintaining hygiene across healthcare settings. You will perform a variety of cleaning functions, including mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal, while adhering to Infection Prevention and Control standards. Additionally, you’ll train new staff and ensure compliance with health safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute cleaning tasks in both clinical and public areas
• Operate cleaning equipment for routine and special cleanings
• Replenish and monitor cleaning supply levels




• Identify hazards and communicate issues to supervisors
• Train and support new employees in Environmental Services

Requirements:
• High school completion or equivalent preferred
• Capable of handling physical demands of the job
• Familiarity with PPE usage for safety
• Proficient in reading and communicating in English
• Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks in various hospital settings
