This role at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is pivotal for fostering a safe, nurturing environment for early learners. You will utilize creative play-based education methods, guided by the Child Care and Early Years Act, along with Ontario's pedagogy. The position requires strong skills in communication, creativity, and a thorough understanding of early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective play-based education in a collaborative setting
• Ensure a safe environment for infant and toddler children




• Apply knowledge of early childhood development principles
• Communicate sensitively with parents and community services
• Adapt to the diverse needs of a multicultural environment

Requirements:
• Completed a two-year Early Childhood Education program
• Registered with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Valid First Aid certification/CPR
• Strong interpersonal skills
