Become a Mental Health Substance Use Counselling & Treatment Clinician at Interior Health in Vernon, B.C. This full-time role focuses on client support through assessment, treatment, and care coordination in a collaborative environment.

Interior Health is seeking a compassionate clinician for its MHSU Adult Short Term Assessment and Treatment team. You will engage with individuals facing complex mental health and substance use issues, applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches. This position involves one-on-one therapy, group facilitation, and urgent response for clients with significant functional impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Facilitate access to specialized services and transition plans
• Document client progress and treatment formulations




• Collaborate with community agencies to share mental health resources
• Deliver educational programs and participate in team activities

Requirements:
• Strong clinical expertise in mental health and substance use
• Experience with co-occurring disorders and functional impairments
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced, team-based setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible schedule for day shifts from 08:30 to 16:30
