We are seeking a reliable and caring Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinary team in delivering excellent patient care. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about animals, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and thrives in a cooperative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures
Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
Clean and maintain surgical areas, kennels,
and equipment to ensure hygienic workspace
Feed and monitor animals in care
Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, including answering questions
What we are looking for:
Completion of a Veterinary Assistant Diploma preferred
Hands on experience in a veterinary clinic preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage animals safely and confidently
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
