Sundridge Veterinary Services is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Our clinic operates 20 hours per week, and we are looking for a dependable, compassionate team member who is comfortable working with animals and supporting the veterinarian in all aspects of patient care.

Responsibilities

- Safely handle and restrain animals
- Assist with surgery preparation, cleanup, and patient care
- Assist the veterinarian during appointments
- Maintain accurate medical records and complete required record-keeping
- Lift and handle animals safely as part of the clinic team

Requirements

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs independently
- Must be able to safely handle heavier animals with assistance from other team members
- Comfortable handling and restraining animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Comfortable working in a surgical setting
- Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience/training is an asset

Compensation

Starting wage: $18.00/hour, with potential for increases over time based on experience and performance.
