Hi! We’re a family in Halifax looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic nanny to help care for our almost one-year-old daughter on a part time/casual basis.

Our daughter is a very happy, active little girl who loves being outside, going for walks, reading books, dancing, playing, and spending time with other children. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children and would be excited to keep her engaged, active, and having fun while we’re working or need an extra hand.

We’re ideally looking for someone 2–3 times a week for a couple of hours at a time, with some flexibility around days and times.

We’re also open to the possibility of a nanny share with another family on our street who has a son around the same age. This would obviously impact the hourly rate and we are open to negotiating a price that you feel is fair.

We also have one small, 11 year old dog,



so being comfortable around dogs is important. There may occasionally be some very light pet care involved, such as letting him outside in the backyard or bringing him on a walk around the block.

Current CPR certification is a must, and previous experience caring for infants/toddlers is strongly preferred.
