Mic Mac Bar & Grill is looking for an experienced line cook for its busy Dartmouth, Nova Scotia establishment. The cooks must have at least 3 years of experience as a line cook preparing steaks and high-quality home-style fare in high-volume restaurants and large kitchens. The duties of this position are as follows: set up and break down stations; prepare and cook complete meals and dishes according to recipes or personal judgment and experience; weigh measure and mix ingredients; portion, arrange and garnish food; inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of secure, sanitary food-handling practices; maintain inventory and records of food, supplies,



and equipment; clean kitchen and work area; assist in planning menus, determining size of food portions, estimating food requirements; and assist in hiring and training kitchen staff.
