Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated building maintenance and cleaning employee to contribute to the daily upkeep of our property. This role includes general cleaning, seasonal maintenance, and minor repairs.

The ideal candidate works well independently and is eager to acquire recent skills related to building maintenance and repair.

Although the regular schedule is daytime on weekdays, flexibility to cover weekday evenings, weekends and holidays as needed is part of the position.

Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:
Perform general janitorial and cleaning tasks (common areas, bathrooms, floors, etc.).
Handle snow removal and seasonal outdoor maintenance.
Perform minor building repairs and routine maintenance.
Assist with basic plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, plastering, flooring, cement work, and other maintenance tasks as needed.




Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop recent maintenance and repair skills.
Identify maintenance issues and report or resolve them in a timely manner.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work setting.
Be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:
Experience in building maintenance, janitorial work, or a related field is an asset, but not required.
Any experience in plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, flooring, cement work, or similar trades is preferred.
Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and grow in the role.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks (lifting loads, bending, standing, outdoor work).
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented person.
