All Rock Consulting Ltd. invites applications for a Junior Biologist position to help with various ecological projects. Candidates should have a degree in Biology, Ecology, or a similar field, along with a minimum of two field seasons’ experience.
Your contributions will span fish habitat assessments, assisting in environmental evaluations, and supporting project management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations on aquatic habitats
- Assist in ecological inventory and species at risk evaluations
- Support the preparation of environmental documentation
- Participate in monitoring and inspections during construction
- Collaborate with project teams and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Biology or Ecology
- Minimum of two relevant field seasons’ experience
- Knowledge of fish and wildlife ecosystems
- Familiarity with GIS preferred
- Robust communication and organizational skills
