Closure Date: Sept 9, 2026 11:59 PM CST(ex: Oct 25, 2019 12:00 AM CST) Position #: 185940 Union: Saskatchewan Government and General Employees Union Bargaining Unit: SGEU - Saskatchewan Cancer Agency City/Town: Saskatoon Facility: Saskatoon Cancer Centre Department: Materials & Facilities Management Type: Full time regular Expected Start Date: Sept 21, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: In a 3 week rotation: 14 shift(s) of 7.77 hours Multi-Facility: No Relief: No Float: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 5, $31.113 to $36.334 (5 step range) GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Reporting to the Manager, Materials & Facilities Management the Coordinator, Materials & Facilities Management is responsible for coordinating accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, and policy and procedure implementation.

This position is also responsible to facilitate operational changes to space and facility including housekeeping, maintenance and repair, work of contracted service providers and project coordination. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Grade 12 Certificate in Business Administration Courses such as Purchasing Management of Canada (PMAC) or Supply Management would be an asset.
Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in Facilities or Finance Facilities experience may include coordination of maintenance, housekeeping,



security and space management. Finance experience may include project cost tracking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement and materials management.
Project coordination experience is required. Skills: Demonstrated knowledge in project cost tracking, renovation projects, and materials management. Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft applications. Ability to calculate figures, amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
Ability to interpret detailed information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Considerable judgment and problem solving ability is required to identify, analyze and define problems and select the most appropriate solution to rectify them.
Human relations skills required to ensure compliance and promote acceptance through negotiating with staff and/or suppliers where there is a requirement to resolve the conflict or situation. Ability to manage multiple tasks in various stages of completion according to priorities.

Ability to coordinate and periodically assume responsibility for work over others which may include contracted service providers - eg. host hospital Ability to work independently. Knowledge of culturally responsive care for First Nations and Métis people.
