As a member of a Multidisciplinary Health Care team, co-ordinates, performs and evaluates Diagnostic Services examinations within the discipline of general X-Ray and CT, may support other modalities based on qualifications. As a member of the healthcare team, the Registered X-Ray Technologist coordinates, performs and evaluates diagnostic imaging examinations.
Guides and directs clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment and provides patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation and accountability. Rotation though other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements maybe required.
Qualifications 1. Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology 2. Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario 3. Professional designation of Registered Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT) 4.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)



registration 5. Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team workplace 6. Demonstrated effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills 7. Effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced clinical environment 8.
Evidence of participation in ongoing education & professional development 9. Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRS preferred 10. Minimum 2 years hospital experience preferred 11. Previous CT experience preferred 12. CT Imaging Certificate preferred 13. Minimum 2years recent experience as practicing Mammogragher considered an asset 14.

Certified with Ontario Breast Screening Program considered an asset 15. Completion of Certificate in Breast Imaging (CBI) considered an asset
