Lead Engineer, Energy and Infrastructure Projects (Toronto, ON)Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)About the RoleAs a Lead Engineer, you will lead engineering aspects across Linxon's diverse projects, including AIS, GIS, BESS, rail & infrastructure, data centers, offshore and onshore wind. You serve as the technical anchor, driving safety, cost efficiency, quality, and reliability at every stage.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all in‑house and outsourced engineering work from proposal through construction.Manage engineering budget and cost control decisions.Maintain engineering schedules, ensuring on‑time delivery and high‑quality outputs.Define technical direction, design criteria, and maintain an accurate deliverables list.Introduce innovative, cost‑effective engineering solutions.Strengthen vendor selection and subcontract negotiations with expert technical insight.Ensure designs meet safety requirements and industry standards.Review internal and external design packages for accuracy, constructability, and cost efficiency.Verify vendor compliance and witness factory acceptance tests.Support the Project Manager with scope control, procurement, scheduling, and change management.Lead customer technical discussions,
