Job Location: London, Ontario, CanadaHours37.5 hours per weekLine of BusinessTechnology SolutionsCompensationAnnual base salary range: $69,700 - $98,400 CAD (subject to candidate’s skills and experience)Job OverviewCustomer Assistance Technology Solutions covers technical planning, integration, systems analysis, design, development, unit and component systems testing, deployment, support maintenance, and more. Relationship‑building is part of what these highly‑skilled experts do best as they work together with technology project managers, delivery partners, business and systems analysts, testing and quality assurance teams, sponsors and many other stakeholders to deliver requirements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new applications and perform unit/ component testing for new application development aligned with business needs and technology architecture standards.Communicate solution development requirements, contribute to project plans, estimations, timelines and status updates to support management and clients.Inform key stakeholders of any issues that may impact other areas of the project and resolve or escalated issues as required.Support business enquiries and activities through execution of small enhancements and break/fix implementations (e.G., source code changes).Work with Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Developers and Solution Designers to ensure configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.Create and maintain quality code, ensure defect‑free programming consistent with standards, and support during testing cycles and post‑production deployment.Adhere to standard security coding practices to ensure the application is free of common coding vulnerabilities.Contribute to project plans,
estimations and status updates.Identify and recommend development and testing solutions/tools to support project/application objectives.Complete unit and integration testing for conformance to standards and design specifications.Comply with enterprise technology delivery practices and standards, and participate in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis.Assist in developing and maintaining processes for preventing issues, determining problems, and resolving incidents with appropriate quality measures.Provide technical support during incident management, assisting with analysis, impact assessment, and recommending resolution.Continuously enhance knowledge and stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and developments.Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines.Support a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation and teamwork.Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit.Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers.Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and across business units.Perform moderately complex to difficult technical tasks independently or with others.Demonstrate advanced knowledge of business, technical environment, processes, procedures, programming languages and operating systems.Work on multiple medium to large sized projects and generally report to an IT Manager or above.QualificationsUndergraduate degree or technical certificate.5-7 years of relevant experience.Mandatory skillset: COBOL, IMS DB/DC, SAS, DB2, Smart Restart, CA-7, JCL, SQL, IBM OS/390, Z/OS, TSO, ISPF, QMF, SPUFI, CLIST, VSAM, File-aid, TIBCO, NDM, FTP, Endevor.Nice to have skillset: Netron Cap, Test Sets, Service Now, RC Secure, ICETOOLS, INSYNC, JAVA, Angular, VB Script, SSIS, SSRS, Spring, Springboot, Microservice, API, HTML5, Typescript, Maven.BenefitsBase salary within the stated range.Variable compensation potential.Health and well‑being benefits.Savings and retirement programs.Paid time off.Banking advantages and discounts.Career development opportunities.Reward and recognition programs.Language Requirement (Quebec only)Sans Objet#J-18808-Ljbffr
