In this full-time role, reporting to the Shelter Manager, you'll provide guidance to shelter teams at various locations. Your robust leadership skills and commitment to serving the community will help foster a supportive atmosphere for guests facing adversity. Collaboration with volunteers and partners is essential to realize our mission.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead the emergency shelter team,
ensuring daily tasks are met • Develop and maintain community partnerships for better outreach • Deliver effective solutions to staff concerns and guest issues • Enforce safety protocols and training with team members • Facilitate regular feedback and development discussions
Requirements: • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • At least 2 years of leadership in mental health or homelessness • Experience in strategic planning and program evaluation • Excellent advocacy and time management skills • Access to a reliable vehicle and valid class 5 license
