We are committed to providing exceptional public service and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.Position ResponsibilitiesThe main duties for these positions include plowing snow on priority roadways with a team of graders and loaders maintaining safe passage of traffic.Equipment to operate:Motor Grader with attachmentsTandem Plow Truck with Sand/Salt spreader and attachments including WingFront End Loader with attachmentsBackhoe LoaderBidirectional Flail MowersSnow Blowers (min 7’ width)Self Propelled Asphalt PaverVacuum Eductor TruckLine Painting UnitBroce BroomTandem Axle Water TruckAerial Lift or Bucket Truck (35+ ft extension)Other similar equipmentStreet Sweeper (3 cubic yards and over)Other duties as assignedMust have at least 2 years' experience operating equipment of similar sizeAdditional duties may be required on a day-to-day basis and may include participation in standby rotation.QualificationsValid Alberta Driver’s License (Class 3 with Air Brakes Endorsement)Knowledge of operation and maintenance of a Motor Grader, Street Sweeper,
