Atlantic Ultima Home Care is hiring Community Visiting Home‑Care Staff (HSW) for the St. John’s and surrounding areas, including Torbay, CBS, and Mount Pear.Compensation: $21.00 per hour plus a $25 monthly phone allowance. Vacation pay is available each pay period.Position type: Part‑time. Preferred schedule: the same three weekdays each week and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Afternoon shift: 1p.M.–9p.M. Morning shift: 8a.M.–4p.M. or 9a.M.–5p.M.LocationCommunity visiting – clients’ homes within the St. John’s region.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with all aspects of daily living including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.Prepare food and assist with feeding as required.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.Provide care for clients with dementia, intellectual or physical challenges,



and behavioral or mental health issues.Administer medication safely and accurately.Communicate effectively with clients and other staff.Perform light housekeeping duties such as dishwashing and folding laundry.Qualifications & RequirementsValid full Class5 or Class5LevelII driver’s licence.Own reliable vehicle with insurance in name.Vulnerable Sector Police Check issued within the last six months.First‑aid and CPR certification.TB test result from within one year or chest X‑ray from within two years.HSW certificate preferred; direct Canadian HSW experience considered.Experience in home‑care protocols and dementia care preferred.One year of HSW experience preferred.Perks: Mileage reimbursement of 40¢ per kilometre between client visits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
