Job SummaryReporting to the Head of PMO and Business Analysis, the Business Analyst will deliver high‑quality technology and operational solutions across the organization, bridging business needs and IT delivery to support operational efficiency and strategic objectives.Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements.- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, data mappings, and process flows.- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.- Document current and target operating models using process‑modeling tools such as Visio.- Lead user forums and stakeholder workshops to refine requirements.- Develop comprehensive test cases and execute system and integration testing.- Partner with development teams to resolve defects and ensure solution quality.- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and coordinate stakeholder sign‑off.- Work closely with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation requirements.- Track and report project progress on assigned features and user stories, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.- Identify and proactively mitigate project risks and dependencies.- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and objectives.- Provide clear status updates to sponsors and program leadership.- Support change‑management activities; develop user guides andfacilitate end‑user training sessions as required.Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or information technology.- CFA and/or CBAP certification considered a solid asset.- 5–7 years of business‑analysis experience,



primarily within financial services or asset management.- Strong understanding of investment operations and asset classes.- Experience managing large‑scale technology implementations and concurrent operational initiatives.- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and sprint planning; ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple deliverables.- Ability to work independently to size and prioritize development sprints and execute them within timelines and budgets.- Proven skill in collaborating and interacting across the organization, building strong relationships in a team‑oriented, deadline‑driven environment.- Strong problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.- Willingness to take on diverse responsibilities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.- Capacity to make decisions and push forward with incomplete information.- Commitment to continuous improvement and challenging existing processes.Technical Skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Working knowledge of SQL for independent query of databases for ad‑hoc data analysis.- Experience with data modeling, data mapping, and large dataset analysis.- Familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus.Additional InformationHybrid working environment: 4 days in‑office per week.Salary range: $110,000 to $120,000 (Ontario).Language: French proficiency required for Quebec (Montreal and Laval).
