Contract duration: 7 months.ResponsibilitiesProvide professional leadership to optimize outcomes in an assigned area.Work on large projects or more complicated parts of smaller projects and provide technical advice.Review and make independent studies, analysis, interpretations, and conclusions relating to assigned projects.Carry out responsible and diverse engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields.Identify risk and mitigating activities and barriers to implementation, and plan accordingly.Apply Process Safety Standards in development of design and execution of change management.Participate in planning, design development, construction of producing facilities, reviewing and analyzing operating conditions and performance.Develop solutions to routine but complex problems, usually solved by use of a combination of standard procedures, modification of standard procedures,



or methods developed in previous assignments.Use independent judgement in the selection, organization, and adaptation of work methods.Mentor and give technical guidance to more junior engineers or technicians.Refer difficult, complex, or unusual matters or decisions to more senior authority.QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent with 5–7 years’ work experience.Fully competent in all standard techniques and procedures.Uses advanced design and analysis software tools to conduct analyses and develop recommendations.General familiarity with a broad field of engineering and/or a sound knowledge of engineering principles within a specific field, along with knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields.Can clearly define complex multivariable problems.Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills to deal with management and technical staff in a positive and constructive manner.Good knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
