Job Title: General Labourer / Delivery Helper
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shift/Hours: 8:00 a.m. start
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
The General Labourer / Delivery Helper will assist with loading, unloading, moving materials, and supporting deliveries as required. This role involves hands-on physical work, maintaining a clean and secure work area, and following instructions from supervisors and team members.
This position requires someone who is reliable, punctual, safety-focused, and comfortable performing general labour duties throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with deliveries and operate company vehicles as required
- Move, organize, and handle materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous general labour, warehouse, delivery, or moving experience considered an asset
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record required for delivery driving
- Physically able to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
- Comfortable performing hands-on physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots required
