Become a Front of House Usher for Mount Royal University's Events and Theatre Services, offering patrons a warm welcome while working in a flexible schedule role. Help with ticketing and seating at beautiful venues.
In this role, you will work closely with guests at MRU, providing excellent customer service during events in the Bella Concert Hall and other campus venues. Positions require the ability to adapt to variable hours, including both weekdays and weekends. Ushers play a critical role in ensuring the seating process is efficient and the lobby area remains presentable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and assist them as they enter the venues
• Scan tickets and guide patrons to their designated seats




• Support coat check operations as needed
• Contribute to a clean and organized theatre lobby
• Perform various pre and post-event tasks
Requirements:
• Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts
• Solid ability to work both independently and within a team
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
• At least 1 year of experience in a related position
• Must be 18 years old or older
