Project Manager II – Oil & Gas – Calgary Agilus is recruiting a Project Manager II to lead cross‐functional, integrated project teams on heavy civil and mining projects (M$100–300M) in the Oil and Gas sector. The role involves driving competitive project performance in Stage 2 (FEL2) through strategic leadership, financial stewardship, and delivery of high‐quality results.Responsibilities Plan, assemble and lead an integrated project team, with accountability for safety, quality, cost, schedule and stakeholder alignment.Set key gate dates, develop and execute project plans to support performance objectives.Lead project through gate reviews, ensuring reviews are completed on time and meet the required quality.Manage contractors and monitor pre‐FEED/FEED contractor execution against plans and specifications.Champion and drive project competitiveness through the implementation of organizational strategies and collaboration with functional teams.Partner with Senior Technical Leads to define work, assess risks and develop mitigations; secure endorsement of the Project Road Map.Develop and maintain the Project Organization Plan and manage integration of discipline and functional input.Monitor and manage the development phase budget,



identify performance gaps and develop improvement plans.Qualifications BASc in Engineering and either holding a Professional Engineer designation in Alberta or eligibility to apply for one.Minimum of 10years of project manager experience leading capital projects for civil or mining, with proven experience in FEL2 and FEL3 phases.Strong leadership and personnel‐management skills with the ability to coordinate remote teams across different time zones.Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in project‐management disciplines, including execution planning, contracting/procurement, cost estimating, project controls, scheduling, and organization design.Ability to work cross‐culturally, adapt to different time zones, and manage remote teams.Contract Details 12‐month contract, full‐time, 5 days on / 2 days off.Hourly compensation $100.00.Location: Calgary office with occasional travel to the Kearl site.Eligible for advantages as a contractor (P2P‐ see contract).EEO Statement Agilus is an equal opportunity employer.
