About the JobOur client is seeking a full time position for a Technical Project ManagerPay Rate: Starting from $140k-$165kLocation Type: Onsite in EdmontonBusiness Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST or MST hours is acceptableRole DescriptionThe Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. The role involves leading engineering teams through the full Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.Key responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocationsLeading Agile ceremonies (e.G., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and supporting Scrum teams when requiredCoordinating cross-functional teams, including developers, QA/testers, business analysts, and operationsMonitoring project progress, identifying and resolving risks, issues, and dependenciesEnsuring quality and adherence to project standards throughout the projectFacilitating communication with stakeholders, providing status updates,



and managing expectationsSupporting process improvements, including Agile practices, testing strategies, and continuous deliveryQualificationsStrong Project and Program Management skills to manage projects from inception to deliveryExperience in technical project execution, including software development, system integration, and testing coordinationDemonstrated team leadership abilities to motivate and guide diverse technical teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAnalytical mindset to assess project performance, manage risks, and implement improvement opportunitiesProficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.G., Jira, ADO, MS Project, Confluence)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferredPMP, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Agile certifications are nice to haveProven ability to manage complex technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlinesWe use AI technology as part of our application review process to assist with screening and assessment.
