Duties

- Review specifications and drawings of open tenders
- Collect all pertinent data and information for each job to be quoted
- Conduct materials and pricing research
- Assist in negotiations with Engineering Consultants
- Liaise with general contractor, sub-contractors, and suppliers
- Identify current market opportunities

Requirements

- Attentive to detail with strong analytical, math and computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Must be extremely proficient in Word and Outlook
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and achievement oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities
- Must be fluent in English




- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Assets

- Estimating /Project Management experience with Landscape Construction and Maintenance
- Relevant University Degree or College Diploma (i.e. Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Certified Landscape Technician, Landscape Horticulture Diploma, Landscape Architectural Diploma), Project Management Certificate, Construction Estimating Certificate
- Previous experience in project management and coordination
- Estimating in a general contracting environment
- Office experience
