Crane Lake Discovery Camp is a therapeutic wilderness program for boys aged 10-15 years. We are a private school operating on about two hundred acres of land near MacTier, Ontario, following the methodology of therapeutic wilderness camping developed by Campbell Loughmiller. We have a dedicated team of people living and working full-time at camp. They form a supportive, caring community in our remote location, and that support and care overflows to the way we care for the campers.
About This Role:
Kitchen staff fill a critical role in the care of our community, providing a warm and welcoming environment in the dining hall for campers and staff. Three meals are provided five days of the week for about 12-25 people.
Position Details:
- Full-time, paid position

Responsibilities:
- Follow food safety protocols using the provided certification training.
- Prepare food and clean up after each meal.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly kitchen cleaning tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Mature, dedicated Christian.
- Good interpersonal skills to work with a small team.
- High School diploma (or equivalent).
- Commercial kitchen experience is an asset, but not required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a positive driving record.
