Store Associate (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

- Ensure a high level of customer service.
- Accurately record customer transactions using the electronic cash register, mainline, and self‑checkout systems.
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
- Follow up on hot‑selling items, complete markdowns, and make SKU changes when needed.
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards.
- Perform cycle counts as required.
- Ensure compliance with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Keep the checkout work area clean and organized.
- Follow loss prevention best practices.

When You’ll Work

Full‑time schedule: day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends (35‑40 hours weekly).
Part‑time schedule: a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.

Physical Demands of Position

- Stand and/or walk.
- Bend, twist, and squat.




- Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs).
- Perform tasks involving firm grasping.
- Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions.
- Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Operate equipment, including using a ladder.
- Work within reasonable accommodations where needed.
