North American Construction Group is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators (Haul Truck) for their Suncor mining site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Operators will join a large, safety-focused team and work on a 14/14 rotation, transporting raw materials using various haul trucks. This is an excellent opportunity for those with mining experience seeking growth and stability in a unionized environment.

What You’ll Need

- Minimum one year experience in a mining environment operating rigid frame haul trucks (CAT/Komatsu 793, 830/930 experience an asset)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and recent Driver’s Abstract
- High School Diploma or GED (asset)
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
- Valid CSO or BSO (Energy Safety Canada)
- Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness, H2S Awareness, Field Ergonomics (Energy Safety Canada)
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing: Breath Alcohol, Urine Drug, Fitness-to-Work, Audiometric, Vision Screening, Criminal Record Check
