This position involves casual monitoring of students during lunch periods and requires quick decision-making and strong communication skills. Working hours span from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:50 PM to 1:50 PM, Monday through Friday. Duties include facilitating safe and clean environments during meal times and possibly supervising recess.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor students during nutrition times
• Help children open lunch containers
• Clean tables and student hands post-meal
• Oversee recess activities thoroughly
• Support students in kindergarten classrooms
Requirements:
• Ability to act quickly during emergencies
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Discretion and tact in community interactions
• First Aid and BMS training advantageous
• Current Police Record Check needed
