GeneralThe Receptionist is responsible for all aspects of maintaining the flow of communications for Surespan’s Head Office. The successful candidate will be organized, able to multi‑task, have exceptional people skills and be able to work at a fast pace with extreme accuracy.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones and transfer calls accurately; taking accurate, legible messages and forwarding them in a timely manner when required.Manage couriers, including receiving and distributing packages in a timely manner, sending packages as required, maintaining records of courier transactions, and reconciling records with each invoice.Process mail and faxes accurately and promptly.Prepare paperwork for filing by organizing items as instructed.Maintain office supplies and keep storage areas tidy; order supplies atall times ensuring they are replenished before running out.Maintain tidiness of all common areas in the office.On a daily basis, organize and/or pick up lunch for the President; a valid driver’s license and own vehicle is preferred but not required; any kilometres will be reimbursed.Assist other departments as needed on an ad‑hoc basis; prioritizing tasks and completing requests from various personnel.Experience RequiredNo experience is necessary.

Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
