As the Regional Manager you will be responsible for driving strong and consistent performance across the retail banking network by achieving key performance indicators related to membership growth, share of wallet, financial performance, and member experience. Through effective leadership, coaching, and execution of sales and service strategies, the Regional Manager builds team capability, ensures operational excellence, and uses data-driven insights to identify opportunities and improve results. In partnership with the Director, Retail Growth, the role helps develop and implement strategies that expand market reach, strengthen member relationships, and create meaningful impact within the communities we serve.What you’ll do:Deliver sustained achievement of retail banking performance targets, including growth in membership, share of wallet, non-interest income, and overall financial performance across SASCU’s branches.Drive consistent execution of SASCU’s advice, sales, and service strategy, resulting in a high-quality, seamless, and consistent member experience across all channels.Translate corporate strategy into clear, aligned execution across the retail network, ensuring priorities, resources, and activities are focused on achieving SASCU’s strategic objectives.Build and sustain a high-accountability, values-aligned culture where expectations are clear, performance is actively managed, and employees are engaged and supported to deliver results.Develop strong, capable leaders by coaching Branch Managers to lead effectively, foster trust and empowerment, and achieve sustained individual and team performance.Ensure leadership continuity and future capability through effective talent management, succession planning, and ongoing development of high-potential employees.Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, address performance gaps, and implement actions that improve financial results, operational efficiency,
and member outcomes.Maintain effective cost and risk management across the network, ensuring operations remain within approved budgets, risk tolerances, privacy requirements, and regulatory expectations.Lead and sustain initiatives that improve operational efficiency, enhance service delivery, and support successful implementation of strategic and change initiatives.Ensure timely and effective resolution of escalated member, service, and operational issues, applying sound judgment and a strong member focus.Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships that enhance collaboration, support business development, and strengthen SASCU’s presence and impact within the community.Contribute to enterprise priorities by leading or supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives that advance SASCU’s overall business objectives.What you’ll bring:A degree or diploma in Business Administration.6-7 years of financial services or credit union experience, including at least 4 years at the management level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.3 years of mutual funds sales experience.Knowledge of application of Lean or Agile processes is preferred.Access to transportation and willingness to travel within the SASCU community.You’re perfect for this role if you:Have a proven ability to achieve financial, member, and employee results in a dynamic and continuously evolving work environment.Are an cutting-edge thinker with the ability to engage staff to find new solutions to move business forward.Take an analytical approach to address situations, issues, and problems,
