About the RoleEther is hiring a Technical Brand Ambassador / On‑Site Activation Tech to support a live interactive activation in Toronto.This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, comfortable with Windows computers and USB hardware, and has experience working in live events, brand activations, AV, gaming, kiosks, or interactive installations.You will be onsite during the activation to help manage the technical side of the experience, support guest flow, follow a provided runbook, and communicate clearly with remote technical support if anything needs troubleshooting.Activation DatesFirst Canadian Place: June 9–10Eaton Centre: June 15–19Training / setup date: TBDShift length: Approx. 8 hours/dayResponsibilitiesSupport daily setup, startup, monitoring, and shutdown of the activation systemFollow a technical runbook and checklist throughout each shiftMonitor a Windows‑based mini PC, USB peripherals, webcam, and network/router setupTroubleshoot basic Windows issues, including restarting apps/services and checking connected devicesCheck that the activation software, recording system, and hardware inputs are working correctlyCommunicate clearly with remote technical support when issues ariseHelp manage guest flow at the activation in a friendly, skilled wayStay calm and composed in a busy public workplaceLog issues, observations, and resolutions during each activation dayMust HaveComfortable troubleshooting Windows computersAble to navigate Task Manager, Device Manager, USB devices,
