Lead impactful childcare operations as the Childcare Director for the YMCA of Saskatoon. Oversee five licensed centers, ensuring high-quality and developmentally appropriate programs for children and families.
This leadership role directly reports to the CEO and involves collaborating with managers, Human Resources, and Finance departments. You'll be responsible for providing strategic direction, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring excellent child experiences. Strong leadership, operational judgment, and a commitment to early learning are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct operations of five licensed childcare centres
• Coach Centre Managers to enhance program quality




• Conduct regular site visits to ensure consistency
• Support inclusive programming and safety practices
• Manage strong relationships with licensing consultants
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Early Childhood Educator Level III certification preferred
• Proven leadership experience in childcare
• Solid knowledge of compliance and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving and coaching skills
