Position Summary

What You’ll Do

- Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
- Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
- Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
- Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
- Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
- Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Physical Demands

- Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.70.
